Snowbird LULLY is a 12 foot cat-rigged racing dinghy, hull number #344 built by Dorrance McClure in Costa Mesa, CA in 1952. The Snowbird was designed in 1921 by E.B. Schock as a racing trainer for children, teenagers, and women. It became an official racing class in 1926. A slightly modified version became one of four one-design classes competing in the 1932 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles. LULLY raced in the 1954 Flight of the Snowbirds regatta in Balboa Bay, CA, and likely other Flights as well.
